The Deputy Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the United States,, Okyeame Kofi Adu, has applaud the national executives of the NDC for the introduction of the GHETTO 4 Mahama campaing
According to him, the initiative will ensure all members of the community have a voice in the next NDC government decision-making process as he believes the initiative will foster greater inclusivity and participation in governance.
Okyemae Kofi Adu explained that, “Ghana is in a mess, facing financial crisis as Ghana’s economy is crushed, the Cedis to Dollars is depreciated, same as the Cedis to Pounds and also Cedis to CFA”
“There is a low standard of living among the Ghanaians citizens and high cost of living in the country which affects the day to day activities in the Ghanaians life, As the NPP government failed to deliver on when they promised heaven on earth to win power in 2020 election hence the need for all and sundry to come on board to revive our economy in the next NDC government.
The concept of a “Ghetto 4 Mahama”, revolves around establishing a dedicated space or platform where all citizens of the country can openly discuss and contribute to important policy decisions. By doing so, the party aims to bridge the gap between different demographics and ensure that everyone has a say in shaping its future.
Hon Okyeame Kofi Adu spoke on corruption attitudes of NPP government apparatchik of which some are Agyapa deal, Cathedral scandal, money in the room of government officials, share of COVID fund among aspirants, sale of SSNIT property and others which are yet to be exposed.
An attitude he believes can be easily dealt with if all citizens of the country participate in fighting against
According to Adu, this approach is crucial for maintaining the party’s unity and relevance. “In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy for certain voices to be drowned out or overlooked. By creating a ‘NDC Ghetto,’ we can ensure that every member has an equal opportunity to share their ideas and opinions,” he explained.
