Ghanaian Broadcaster, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has resigned as the Morning Show Host of Angel Broadcasting Network.
According to him, his decision to resign was due to differences in interests between the management of the company and himself.
Okatakyie-Afrifa who announced his resignation on Facebook expressed his appreciation to the management of ABN to serve in their reputable company.
“I am resigning as the Morning Show Host of Angel Broadcasting Network, effective immediately. This decision was made due to differences in interests between the management of the company and myself. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ABN and the Ghanaian public.” He wrote.
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah is among Ghanaian Journalists who raised their voices against illegal mining activities in Ghana.
Some Ghanaians commended him for his bold decision to join the fight against galamsey while others criticized him for his public utterances against prominent leaders in Ghana.
Others believe his highly political affiliation to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) led to his resignation after the party lost the 2024 elections.
Some social media users believe his next move will be Wontumi FM/TV.
