Nana Saah Badu III, has been enstooled as the Chief of Adumasa in the Nkoranza North District of the Bono East of Ghana.
The enstoolment ceremony, which took place at palace of Adumasa was attended by various community leaders, both former and current District Chief Executive of Techiman North, the Techiman South Education Director, residents, including many others.
Nana Saah Badu III, was chosen for the prestigious title due to his dedication and commitment to improving the lives of the people in Nkoranza Adumasa. As the new Chief, he will play a pivotal role in driving community development initiatives and fostering unity among the residents.
The enstoolment ceremony was marked by traditional rituals and ceremonies, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the community. Nana Siaw Badu III was adorned in traditional attire and presented with various symbols of authority, signifying his new role as the Chief of Nkoranza Adumasa.
The inhabitants of the community, expressed their profound gratitude to the traditional leaders of the community for providing them with a chief after waiting for four (4) years without a chief.
“We are very happy, in fact we have been without a chief for the past four (4) years and we strongly believe that with the enstoolment of a new chief, our community will start to develop at a rapid pace.
“We thank our traditional leaders, especially the Queen for giving us a young and vibrant chief, we promise to support him and all ways for the development of our community.” Some residents told our reporter.
In his acceptance speech, Nana Siaw Badu III expressed his gratitude to the community for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading them. He vowed to work tirelessly to address the challenges facing the community and to create a brighter future for all residents.
Nana Siaw Badu III, who is also an educationalist, promised to welcome the views of his elders and people in his quest to develop the community while giving paramountcy to the educational needs of his people.
“I will use the experience I have gained as an educationalist to reshape the image of our community, I will prioritize education and ensure that the youth gets the needed support they will need to achieve greater heights in education.
“I promised not to be a dictator, I will welcome and cherish the diverse ideas of my people and respect my traditional council. I promise to champion the course of Adumasa and will work hand in hand with my elders, chiefs and people to help develop the community.” He said
He ceased the occasion to thank the Queen of Adumasa, elders, friends, family, and sympathizers for gracing the occasion.
On her part, the Queen of Adumasa, Nana Saah Tuaponsah, expressed confidence in Nana Saah Badu III, she explained that she is confident that the new chief through his expertise will help to develop the community.
“I am very excited because I know that our new chief will help me in ruling our community, I will however advise him to continue with what we the traditional council are doing, we will need his help in providing the community with a toilet facility, drinkable water system and most especially to improve the standard of education in this community.
“I’m very confident in him because all those that came from Techiman South and North have said a lot of good things about him, that proves that we have made a right choice and we will also support him.” She said.
