Notorious Nigerian human trafficking ring leader, Chukwudi Nwachuku has been sentenced to 10 years in prison with hard labor for his role in the trafficking of ten young Nigerian girls between the ages of 15 and 18 into Ghana and forcing them into prostitution.
The Achimota Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Mrs. Akosua Anokyewaa Adjepong also ruled that the convict must pay restitution in the sum of GH¢15,000 to each of the ten victims.
“This convict is a man among a gang of criminals who bring unsuspected young girls in Ghana and take them to places for them to swear when they have already shelved their pubic hair and other parts. They are paying him GHC300 per day.” The Police Officer explained.
