Renowned actor Joseph Osei, popularly known as Wayoosi has joined other celebrities who have openly endorsed the various political parties ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Wayoosi who has threw his support for former president and National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has said the time has come for JM to come and save Ghanaians.
The actor who has composed a compaign song for Mahama said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has dissapointed Ghanaians.
The song titled: “Nana Adobia”.
He explained in the song that Nana Addo has disgraced Ghanaians, expecially those who supported him. He added that all the promises he made was a lie and the only option for Ghana is former President John Dramani.
It could be recalled that Wayoosi in an interview with Zion Felix stated that he was once an NPP sympathizer but loss interest in the party because of the Vice Presidential Candidate for the NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh also known as Napo.
He explained that they campaigned for Napo when he was contesting for Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region but he (Napo) ignored their calls after he won the election.
According to him, Napo dissapointed him and for that matter he parted ways with the NPP.
Wayoosi is not the only person who has composed a song for John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 elections.
Ghanaians are gearing up for the general elections slotted for December 7, 2024.
