Medeama SC, newly appointed goalkeeper’s Isaac Amoako, says he will try his best to improve the goalkeeping department of the team.
The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, said he will be conducting specialized training sessions for the goalkeepers at Medeama SC as he aims to enhance their technical skills, improve their reflexes, and strengthen their overall performance.
He said he believes in the vision of the club and his personal philosophy as a goalkeeper’s trainer aligns with the philosophy of Medeama SC.
“Our philosophy is based on the team’s direction and philosophy, so our main objective is to uplift the goalkeeping department and give it a face lift and also try to make a very good impact in the team.
” My philosophy is to train good talents for Medeama, the goalkeeping department is going to have a special training that will bring out talents for the club.” He said
Isaac Amoako said his training will be based on sharpening the mental toughness of the goalkeepers in Medeama SC, create a healthy competition amongst them and encourage all goalkeepers in the team.
“Goalkeeping is a very broad department and will touch on every aspect of goalkeeping, we have to tackle their mental toughness, we will psych the goalkeepers to keep them in a very good frame of mind for the game. As the goalkeeper’s trainer, sometimes you will need to create a very good competition among them.
“Our position during matches is always one, when one is keeping, the others will be on the bench so as the goalkeepers trainer, you will need to encourage everybody.” Isaac Amoako disclosed
