Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr also known as Shatta Wale has revealed his biggest mistake in his life.
According to the “Dancehall King”, he has given respect and care to people who don’t respect it and it has caused him a lot.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale indicated that he went to jail because of the respect he has for the law.
“My biggest mistake in Life is just caring and giving respect to those who don’t respect it . No wonder I went to jail for some bullshit respect of the law ..I wonder if I pulled out a gun in the eyes of everyone,Like by now Life in prison. BUT GOD FORBID!!” He wrote.
It would be recalled that Shatta Wale was remanded for one week at Ankaful Medium prison in the Central Region after he faked being shot with the help of his PRO Nana Dope and another person known as Gangee.
Shatta Wale pleaded not guilty to the charge of spreading false news that caused fear and panic.
But the musician stated that respect and care is too much in a country where the law doesn’t appreciate it.
He also warned his opponents and the general public not to attempt him in any way this year.
“I wake up everyday with anger just because I respect and care too much in a country where the law doesn’t appreciate our efforts ..Don’t try me this year !!!” Part of the post read.
Shatta has vowed not to respond to some messages on social media as he used to do.
He explained that people take chances and set him up for him to come and respond to make them famous but he has put an end to it.
“My level” and “We taking over” hitmaker is one of the musicians who has made Ghana proud in his music career.
