The Footballer of the Year at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards, Mohammed Kudus has said his aim is to increase the unity and the love between the Ghana National Team players.
A Ghanaian professional footballer who plays for West Ham United has won the Footballer of the year of the Ghana Football Awards for two consecutive times.
Addressing the gathering after receiving the award, Kudus said some people paved the way for them to reach that level so the new players have responsibilities to do the same for the upcoming ones and they can only achieve that through love and unity.
“As part of the new generation, one of my aims is to increase the unity and the love between us. There have been a lot of legends here. I want to thank them because they paved the way for the young once to come this far. Our responsibilities also pave the way even clearer for the upcoming ones.” He said.
Mohammed Kudus added that he did not win the Footballer of The Year Awards two consecutive times by chance but through hard work and support from his teammates and family.
The players expressed his appreciation to everyone who joined the event despite their busy schedules.
“I would like to thank everyone who left their time to come here and experience these amazing awards, and I want to use this opportunity to give thanks to everyone who put in efforts to make this nice event happen today. I would like to say I am happy to be named as the Player of The Year, it is a testament to my hard work from my team mate, my family.” Kudus added.
Ghana International player was competing with players like Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukarai and Inaki Williams but was crowned the Player of The Year Awards.
The event brought many football legends and other professionals.
