Mrs. Christiana Agyapong supports orphanages through NPP women’s organizer

The Techiman North New Patriotic Party’s Women’s Organizer, Madam Lawrencia Owusu, affectionately called Mama Law, has presented a range of items to two orphanages in the Bono East Region on behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, wife of NPP flagbearer hopeful Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.

The donation, which took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, benefited the Faith and Charity Foundation Children’s Home at Aworowa in the Techiman North District and the Frankmay New Life Foundation in the Techiman South Municipality. Items donated included assorted drinks, toiletries, biscuits, bags of rice and an undisclosed amount of money.

Mama Law disclosed that the initiative stemmed from Mrs. Agyapong’s strong desire to reach out to less-privileged children and contribute to community development. She noted that the gesture reflects the Agyapong family’s long-standing spirit of generosity and their continuous effort to uplift the vulnerable in society.

At the Frankmay New Life Foundation, one of the beneficiaries, Gideon, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the children. He shared that the continuous support from benevolent individuals like Mrs. Agyapong has made a significant difference in their lives.

“I am a proud product of this orphanage and have successfully completed tertiary education through the help of kind-hearted donors. We are deeply thankful for this latest support, which came at a very crucial time.

“We pray for long life, good health, and prosperity for Mrs. Agyapong and her husband, and may God fulfill all their heart’s desires.”

The manager of the Faith and Charity Foundation Children’s Home also conveyed his gratitude, describing the donation as timely and impactful.

“We are sincerely thankful to Mrs. Agyapong and Madam Lawrencia Owusu for remembering us. This gesture will go a long way to aid the care and well-being of our children. We pray that God replenishes them abundantly and continues to bless their endeavors,” he said.

In an interview with our reporter after the donation, Madam Lawrencia Owusu stated that although the Agyapong family has made similar donations in other parts of the country, this is the first time the wife of a flagbearer hopeful has extended such support to orphanages in the Bono East Region.

“This marks a historic moment for our party, Mrs. Agyapong did not only connect with the women’s wing but also chose to extend her love to the orphanages, bringing hope and happiness to the children. Her intention is to put smiles on their faces and to remind them that they are not forgotten.”

Mama Law further indicated that Mrs. Agyapong’s act of kindness would not be a one-off gesture, assuring that more engagements and support initiatives will follow.

“On behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, we will continue working closely with orphanages across the region to identify their pressing needs and provide the necessary assistance.”
