The position of former president and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama on the Free Senior High School in Ghana remains questionable and shocking to many political actors.

According to Prof. Dinkum, it sounded bizarre for Mr. Mahama to say that the NDC introduced Free SHS and that they would enhance the rightful implementation of it in their next government.

He said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has successfully implemented the policy which the NDC spoke against the policy implementation,

During the media encounter with John Dramani Mahama, he stated that “Free SHS has come to stay. No one can cancel it. I am coming to improve its implementation and make it better. I will support any bill intended to improve education in Ghana.”

But Prof. Dinkum in a statement said “I don’t know his contextual comprehension of Article 25(1)(b), which gives latitude for the implementation of Free Senior High School. He clamored on the said Constitutional provision that, he would enhance the rightful implementation of it. Mr. Mahama, are you very constitutionally inclined and legally illumed? This item has been implemented and fulfilled already according to the constitutional framework. The NPP has continued to make it more detailed and advanced through the incorporation and dilation of sterling facilities to mitigate any scene of students’ being inundated in classrooms and dormitories. Before the President implemented the free SHS policy, he had built seven brand new comprehensive SHS, comprising of administration blocks, classroom blocks, dormitory blocks, dinning halls, assembly halls etc. The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had also built 2,729 classrooms paving way to accommodate 109, 160 students’ to be admitted.”

JOHN MAHAMA IS A PROTOTYPE OF JIGGERY – POKERY TRIMMER.

I have perused through John Dramani Mahama    rendezvous with the media fronts discretely and fairly, i may profess that, it was packaged for intellectual ridicule. We all thought, John Mahama would be a solace for thing with feathers, but, in his usual element, he was once again a greedy glutton in his media encounter. His words were sensually crafted to bewitch the masses as if he was Aphrodite, but he turned out to be a Perseus. I can’t indict him for that, because he had taken philter before that meeting was lit up. Since, there is this aphorism that, ” when a man is in his libidinal ecstasy, his words are not taking serious ” , we knew from the incipience that, he may be engulfed with that disorder. He couldn’t wheedle his Party members, let alone the media persons and other stakeholders in his presence, because his promises were vacuous. As usual, he ascended into the apotheosis of his perfidious state. At this point, let me unclothe the lies he lured the media into.

Firstly, he underscored that, he wouldn’t allow any appointee of his to buy state – owned properties. Mr. Mahama, you simply made a mountain of a molehill. It is better to detach yourself from stuffs, you can’t be chivalrous to engineer. Mr. Mahama, even you couldn’t mandate all your appointees to declare their assets as required by Article 286 of the 1992 Constitution and Act, 1998 (act 550) of the Public Office Holders’ (Declaration of Assets and disqualification ) under your presidency, so, how can you actualize this byzantine policy ? He had sat behind the microphones of the Twin City Radio in Takoradi in October 2015, during the time he was canvassing for votes there and stated steadfastly that, all his appointees had met a crucial obligation to the state apart from swearing their oaths of office, thus, they had declared their assets and liabilities. Meanwhile, a sweeping research into that matter proved that, he was deluding the populace with a colorable mendacity.
To shed more light on this, Hon Ibrahim Mohammed Mutala  the former MP for Nanton and the then deputy Minister of Trade and Industry failed to declare his assets in two succession terms, grounded on a spurious pretext that, his assets declaration form was picked up by a Staff of the Ministry of Information. Although, the law puts the onus of filing the documents on public officials, Mr. Ibrahim said, the Audit Service should have followed up on it.

Hon. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, former MP for Nkoranza South and the then deputy Minister, Local Government said, he declared his assets in 2013 but did not get a receipt for it. He, however, admitted that, when he vacated from office in January 2017, he did not do it. You see how reprobate and felonious your appointees were and even a legion of them, including Hannah Bissiw, Victor Asare Bampoe, Peter Anarfi Mensah etc ?.
When he exited office, at least 38 Ministers and deputy Ministers didn’t fully or partially declare their assets and liabilities. This law is calibrated to checkmate public officials from abusing their offices with illicit enrichment _ even with this realistically duck soup, he was so chicken to preempt any attempt by your appointees then to satisfy it.

Also, he crowed by saying, his track – record in the fight against corruption is apparent, in that, he prosecuted some of his appointees including his friend. I think, it was just a guerrilla thought at that point. Mr. Mahama, what happened to Victoria Hammah’s one million dollar saga ? Although, you exonerated her from her official task, but it wasn’t enough to quench her palpable corruption scandal. He couldn’t launch any investigatory step into it for a potential prosecution. In light of it, the Spokesperson for the Nkoranza, Kintampo and Mole Traditional Council then, Nana Effah Guakro solicited for your intervention in order to engage into rigorous investigation to realize the complexion and length of that case, but he pooh-poohed over it.
Nonetheless, we should not assemble ourselves with the belief that, he is an enemy of corruption, he isn’t!

Moreover, I don’t know his contextual comprehension of Article 25(1)(b), which gives latitude for the implementation of Free Senior High School. The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had also built 2,729 classrooms paving way to accommodate 109, 160 students’ to be admitted.
In addition to these projects, the President had expanded over 1000 of existing SHS to create more space to house the increased in enrollment. And even since then, a massive classroom buildings continue to flood into a plenitude of SHS schools. This means, the President and the NPP regime are working indefatigably to pad with the sought – after projects to bridge the infrastructural shortfalls in SHS.

His plagiarism to sample Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization image, of which he pinpointed about his zeal to introduce one million coders program to aid the youth in coding and other IT programs got me into a riotous of laughing. He wants to worship and lionize a policy his partisan cohorts once upon a time jeered at Dr. Bawumia, the architect of it, by they expressing that, it was a nugatory policy now ? We have grasped his high jinks and monkey business for a long time. We won’t be fragile to his unadulterated shenanigans any longer.
We are waiting for his partisan political funeral on the 7th December as a matter – of – factly. Ghanaians shall thrive on his schadenfreude after the landslide victory for Dr. Bawumia. Hence, his hallucinated pledges cannot tickle our fancy !
