The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has once again demonstrated her commitment to community development by sponsoring the installation of streetlights in Abromase, a key community within the Kulaw enclave of the constituency.
The intervention, according to the MP, is part of her broader vision to enhance security, safety, and improve the quality of life of residents across Salaga South. She explained that adequate street lighting is crucial for deterring crime, promoting night-time economic activities, and ensuring residents move about safely after dark.
Supervising the installation was the Director of Special Projects, Mr. Mustapha Nafiu, who expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and assured the people that the MP remains committed to extending similar projects to other communities within the Kulaw area and beyond.
The Kulaw Ward Coordinator, Mr. Issahaku Nurudeen, who was also present during the installation, conveyed the community’s deep appreciation to the MP for her timely intervention. He noted that the lighting project would significantly improve security and boost social and economic life at night.
Residents of Abromase have hailed the initiative as a timely response to their long-standing appeal for better lighting, describing Hon. Hajia Zuwera’s leadership as people-centered and results-driven.
