Head Pastor of the International Christian Bible Mission and Principal of the International Christian Bible College, Bishop Dr. Andrew Kofi Ankrah, has admonished Men of God to prioritize soul winning in their ministry.
Bishop Dr. Andrew Kofi Ankrah, said the principal duty of all Men of God is to win souls to the Kingdom of God and other duty is secondary to that.
He made this statement during his ordination to a Bishop in divinity on last Saturday, 23rd November, 2024, at the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly in the Bono East Region of Ghana.
Bishop Dr. Andrew Kofi Ankrah, believes that soul winning is the most important aspect of ministry as it cuts across all the five offices in God’s Ministry hence the need for it to prioritize by Ministers of God.
“Jesus told his disciples, that “Go and make disciples of all nations, that is the great commission and that is what I intend to do, winning souls for God is my motivation as a man of God and that should be the motivation for all men of God.
“I will urge all Men of God irrespective of their office to prioritize winning souls to the Kingdom of God because that is our core mandate as ministers of the Most High God.” He said
Bishop Dr. Andrew Kofi Ankrah, further disclosed that, God will always renew the energy and strength of those that serves him and therefore he will continue to win souls to the Kingdom and teach his congregation about the need for them to also win souls for God’s Kingdom.
“God will give you the strength and wisdom to serve his people when you grow in His ministry., there is no pension in God’s Ministry once you have been called to serve, you will serve until your final breath.
“As a Bishop, I will continue to win souls for God, preach and teach my congregation about the great commission and by so doing, they can also go out and win souls for God.” He said
Apostle Dr. Peter Agbanu, of the New Unity Pentecostal Church at Abourso in the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly, entreated all Ministers of God to continue with the studies in theology as that will broaden their understanding about God’s Ministry.
He revealed that, serving in God’s Ministry is not about titles but rather being “fishers of men.”
“This work is not about titles but winning souls for God. As a man of God, you have to be dedicated to serving the God and through that, you will grow in the ministry and the title will be given to you in the due course.
“As a Minister of God, you should keep learning and by so doing you can serve God to the highest standard. It is our duty to teach our congregations about the word of God since that is the only way we can win souls.
“Prophesies are good because it is part of the ministry but that shouldn’t take the center stage of our ministry because we are tasked to win souls and that should be our focal point.” Apostle Dr. Peter Agbanu said.
On his part, Apostle Dr. Kwarteng Thomson of the United Christian Church in Nkenkensu in the Ashanti Region, encouraged all and sundry to join the International Christian Bible College to enhance their theological knowledge.
