Mikel Obi further disclosed that, he would have preferred Liverpool and Argentina midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister as Chelsea’s “number 10  if there was no Cole Palmer”

“If there was no Cole Palmer I’d have Mac Allister in that number 10, but he [Palmer] is a revelation. He keeps producing magic after magic. If he wasn’t in the team I wonder where we would be this season.”

“I don’t think we would be where we are – fourth. We forget about the work rate he has when we don’t have the ball, he chases players down, he’s the full package.” He said.

Palmer has been in excellent form for Chelsea, showcasing his skill, creativity, and ability to make things happen on the pitch. He is the first player to score 26 top-flight goals for Chelsea in a single calendar year since Bobby Tambling’s 27 in 1966.
