Nigerian rapper Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, popularly known as Phyno believes most musicians careers don’t last because of marriage.

He said music is time consuming and it is a jealous career.

According to him, statistically, many celebrities struggle after they enter into marriage.

“Check everybody, statistically, I say I feel so. You understand what I mean? Because music basically is a jealous career. Fucking jealous career that’s why people do music and they drop out of school to face music. The ones that had to juggle the two, you have to give them their kudos because it’s not really easy.” Phyno said in an interview on In My Opinion podcast.

“Sometimes, some people get to a certain fame level and rush back to school and come back to continue from where they stopped because you have to actually face one. Music is like a task and it takes all your time. You have to tour, you have to do this and that, when are you going to read? If you are reading what are you actually reading by the way? What is entering your head? You understand what I mean so that is how task music is” He added.

He also revealed that music is mostly what you pass through so many music talks about someone’s life experiences.

“And also another thing about music is mostly what you pass through that what you put into the music, yeah, life experiences. Unless you are really a guy that uses songwriters. But if you write your songs, you can’t be talking about happiness when your girlfriend is like stressing the shit out of you.” He indicated.
