The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Gomoa East constituency of the Central Region, Hon Kojo Asemanyi has joined the call for Ghanaians to embrace Vice President and the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumi’s digitalisation drive.

According to him, Ghana can compete with other developed countries in this era of technology if Ghanaians support Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization vision.

Speaking during the Easter Convention hosted by the Church of Pentecost, New Town Zone in the Gomoa East District, the NPP PC indicated that Ghana can achieve great things to make life easy for the citizens if Bawumia is given the chance and support.

Kojo Asemanyi also called for unity among Ghanaians irrespective of their religious belief or political affiliation.

“Unity is the bedrock of progress, and together, we can achieve great things for our nation. Let us rally behind Dr. Bawumia’s vision for a digitally empowered Ghana, a vision that sets us apart on the global stage.” He said.

The theme of the sermon, ‘The Power of Resurrection,’ resonated deeply with the congregation as Apostle (rtd) Joseph Assabil expounded on the significance of Jesus’ triumph over sin and death through the resurrection, offering believers the promise of eternal life. Quoting Matthew 27:46, the preacher highlighted Jesus’ poignant cry on the cross, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” underscoring the profound sacrifice and victory embodied in the resurrection.

In a moment of reflection on forgiveness and humility, Apostle Assabil emphasized Jesus’ response to those who wronged him, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” This message of forgiveness and humility struck a chord with the congregation, echoing the importance of these virtues in personal and communal life.

The presence of esteemed party executives, including Chairman Richmond Otoo, Richard Cosmos Abekah (2nd Vice Chair), Jonathan Tabiri Essel (Communications Officer), and Madam Peggy Adubea Asante, added gravitas to the event, underscoring the unity and solidarity within the party ranks.

Hon Kojo Asemanyi further demonstrated his dedication to the cause by supporting the Convention with a generous donation, showcasing his commitment to the values of service and community upliftment.

The convergence of spiritual reflection and political advocacy at the Easter Convention painted a clear picture of a community united in faith and purpose, setting a positive tone for the future of Gomoa East and Ghana as a whole.
