Actor Stephen Atangah, better known by his stage name Don Little has advised the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) New Artiste of the Year, King Paluta to emulate the style of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy if he wants his music career to last longer in the music industry.
According to him, these celebrated musicians have existed for a long in the music industry because they were not influenced by any political party in Ghana.
Don Little said King Paluta struggled before he became a star so he should not allow any politician to spoil the name he has made.
“The work that you are doing, remember you are not supposed to go one side. You are not on one side, you are doing business but Ghanaians will assume you are doing politics. I beg you, you and I have suffered before but it is not a politician who helped us. So now that God has raised you, don’t let politicians spoil the name you have made down. Learn from Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy” Don Little advised.
His comment comes after King Paluta, Vice President and flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Bosiako a. k. a, Chairman Wontumi, Dome Kwabenya MP Adwoa Sarfo, the Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah and other party executives were singing and dancing aseda song in a bus to climax Bawumia’s three-day campaign tour in the Ashanti region.
Many people have condemned the aseda hitmaker for selling his talent to the politician but King Paluta in an interview said there was nothing wrong to honour the call of the vice president.
Don Little indicated that it is not any politician that made King Paluta a star so he should respect his fans and stay away from politicians.
“King Paluta, how are you? I hope you are doing well. Your brother, I have small advice for you, I beg you, it is not any politician that made you a star. Whether NPP or NPP, they are all your fans. When your mother and father are fighting, who will you save? That is how politicians are, they are all our families, we don’t hate them.” The actor stated.
