Grammy Award-winning gospel group, Maverick City Music is set to hold a concert in Ghana as part of their Kingdom World Tour.
The concert is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the ICGC Christ Temple East (Teshie Rasta Road), Accra.
The American contemporary worship music collective founded by Norman Gyamfi and Jonathan Jay originating from Atlanta will perform at the 2024 tour with legendary gospel singer Kirk Franklin.
According to the organizers, there will be a spiritual encounter as they are willing to raise their voices to worship the Lord. They added that holding such a profound worship in Ghana is full of joy.
“We are very excited to bring Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin to Ghana for this powerful concert. We know that Ghanaians will enjoy the best of us and their spirit will be fulfilled in the Lord. Ghana is one of the countries who love praises and worship.” They said.

Maverick City Music did not leave their fans alone as they embarked on “The Maverick Way Tour (Fall 2023)”.
The 2024 highly-anticipated tour dubbed ” Kingdom World Tour” with Kirk Franklin is aimed at bringing worshippers together for a spiritual and powerful experience.
Following their two extended plays, Maverick City, Vol. 1 and Maverick City, Vol. 2 in 2019, the American contemporary worship music has empowered worshipers across the globe and brought them together for spiritual encounters with praises and worship.
Maverick City Music was launched in 2018 when over one hundred Christian artists and songwriters were brought together.
They won the 2023 Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category at the Annual Grammy Award and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category.
