The Paramount Chief of the Wangara Community in Ghana, Masaaba Sariki Fanyinama III, has called on Ghanaians to mindful of their actions before, during, and after the elections in order to preserve the unity, peace and harmony of the country.

Masaaba Sariki Fanyinama III disclosed that without peace, it is impossible to make sense of anything or progress towards a better future.

According to him, the political party or independent candidate that will win this year’s elections can only implement their policies when there is peace in the country hence the need for all and sundry to preach peace before, during and after the upcoming December polls.

“Peace is very important, nothing will make sense without peace, even after the elections, we will need peace to prevail in order to continue with our daily activities.

“Whoever will win this year’s elections will need peace to rule the country  and without peace, there can’t be development, so I will urge all and sundry to be very mindful with whatever they will do at this period.” He said

Kintampo Fanyinama, further explained that, “We have to respect one another and we shouldn’t give audience to hate speeches, elections is not about war and it is not about insults. Elections is simply about campaigning and letting the public know what you can you do for them.

“After all, life must go on after the elections, we are all Ghanaians and we will build the country together, so there is no need for violence before, during, and after the elections.”
