It was amazing when the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) New Artiste of the Year, King Paluta, Vice President and flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Bosiako a. k. a, Chairman Wontumi and other party executives were singing and dancing aseda song in a bus.
Dome Kwabenya MP Adwoa Sarfo, the Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah were all seen enthusiastically singing along during the climax of the vice president’s three-day visit to the Ashanti region.
It is ot clear whether King Paluta has officially endorsed the NPP flagbearer ahead of the 2024 general elections.
These videos have triggered mixed reactions on social media as some people are advicing King Paluta to stay away from politics if he wants his career in music to last long.
