Karela United, has expressed interest in Bofoakwa Tano’s talented left-back, Ali Alhassan.

Management and the technical team of Karela The team believes that Alhassan’s skills and abilities would make him a valuable addition to their roster.

Bofoakwa Tano secured a spot in last season’s Ghana Premier League after their relegation to the First Division in 2007 but the team failed to maintain their Premier League status as they immediately dropped back to the lower division, finishing 17th on the league table with 33 points.

Alhassan was impressive despite his relegation. He made 33 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist for Bofoakwa.

He played a huge role when Bofoakwa Tano reached the finals of the FA Cup but fell short to Nsoatreman FC.

According to reports, Bofoakwa Tano has given the green light for Karela to negotiate personal terms agreement with the player. The Deal is expected to be done next week for the player to join Karela United in Sunyani for preseason.

Ali Alhassan’s former team, Nsoatreman FC had already expressed strong interest to re-sign the defender  from Bofoakwa Tano in the ongoing transfer window but Karela United is set to beat them to his signature.

Karela United’s management has been monitoring Alhassan’s progress closely and is convinced that he has the potential to make a significant impact at the club. They believe that his athleticism, combined with his technical ability, would make him an asset to their defense.

Karela United finished 12th in last season’s Ghana Premier League and will be looking forward to improving their performance in the upcoming season.
