João Félix expresses desire to stay at AC Milan

Chelsea FC loanee,  João Félix Sequeira has revealed his intention to remain at AC Milan once his loan contract with the Rossoneri expires at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

The 25-year-old Portuguese forward who joined the Milan based club on the deadline day of the 2025 winter transfer window, has impressed during his time in Italy, and it appears his future could be tied to the Rossoneri.

João Félix, in an interview with the media disclosed that, he is currently enjoying life at Italy and already feels at home at AC Milan. He expressed his desire to make his loan move permanent at the end of the season.

“For now, I’m on loan until June. We’ll see how it goes. At the moment, I’m really enjoying everything—the club, the people, the facilities. I was welcomed very well, both myself and my family. I feel good here, but we know that in football, things can change quickly. If there were a chance to stay at Milan, I’d like that.” He stated

Since joining AC Milan, João Félix has been in outstanding form, scoring a goal on his debut and delivering impressive performances in his first start for the Italian giants.

AC Milan’s senior football advisor, Zlatan Ibrahimović, commented that, should Félix continue his fine form and scoring run, the club would explore all avenues to make the loan deal permanent at the end of the season.

“Conceição wanted João, we spoke and we decided to trust him for our project. It’s been a very fast negotiation”.t

”Let’s hope the deal to sign him in the summer is equally easy to do. If he continues scoring and playing well, there’s no reason it shouldn’t be, and the attacker can get his wish. As we wrote this morning, there are certainly ways to make it happen.” He disclosed

João Félix Sequeira only joined Chelsea on a permanent basis last summer in a transfer which facilitated Conor Gallagher’s switch from Stamford Bridge to Atletico Madrid.
