The leader of the Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro has heavily descended on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for comparing their government to the first president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

According to him, the NPP has not done anything in the country during President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration that can be compared to Nkrumah’s legacies.

Adding that anybody who wants to win an election in Ghana and disrespect Nkrumah, it will not be well with the person during the elections.

“Concentrate and do whatever you are doing, don’t compare yourself to anybody. If you want to mention Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s name, mention it well. Anybody who wants to win an election in this country, if you disrespect Nkrumah, it will not be well with you. Listen to what I said, this is your useless government, I am telling you the truth that you can’t compare yourself to any work that Nkrumah did.” Prophet Kofi Oduro said this during church service.

He said the most legacy of the current government is the building of toilets and can not be compared to what Dr. Kwame Nkrumah did.

“Don’t compare your ugly government to Nkrumah. This one is a legacy. If you go to some places people see this guy as an angel in this country, you are saying rubbish. What have you done to compare yourself to Nkrumah? What has your government done? Commissioning of toilets and these useless things? The outspoken man of God stated.

His comment comes after the 2024 Vice presidential candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh also known as Napo claimed that no president has developed Ghana than president Nana Akufo-Addo since independence.

“In the history of Ghana from 1957 till now, if President Akufo Addo retires, I can beat my chest and say that no president has developed Ghana than President Nana Akufo-Addo. Whether your Kwame Nkruma ooo, or whosoever, nobody has protected Ghana and developed the country more than Nana Akufo-Addo.” Napo stated.
