Founder of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Kumchacha has questioned the actual meaning of the scripture that God created man in His own image.
He said there is a mistake in the quotation which needs further explanation from the creator Himself.
Genesis 1:27 states, ” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”.
Speaking in an interview with Kofi Adomah on Kofi TV, Kumchacha lamented how a man who can sleep with his child or animal can be clarified as the image of God.
He said if he gets the chance to go to Heaven, Genesis 1:27 is the first question he will ask God why some people practicing morality can be described as God’s image.
“There is a problem with that quotation. If I go to Heaven, the first question I will ask God is that statement. We have some people who sleep with their own children, who sleep with animals such as cow, dogs, so is this the image of God.? A human being can have feelings for his own child and animal, this kind of person is the image of God? The day I will meet God, Prophet Kumchacha, I will ask Him to give me further explanation.” He said.
He added that although it is not proper to call someone as ugly but some of God’s creations are more beautiful than others.
“But no matter what I have said God’s creation. If you tell somebody that he is ugly, you didn’t speak well but no matter what, God’s creation is not the same. Some are more beautiful than others.” Kumchacha stated.
