Sudan, currently are 2nd on the Group F table, with 4 points, they have won 1, drawn 1, and lose 1 of their three games played so far in the qualifiers.
Falcons of Jediane, will play host to Ghana on Tuesday 15th October, 2024 at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya before playing away to Niger at the Le Stade Général Seyni Kountché, a win in these two games according to Ignatius Osei Fosu will see them through to the final tournament.
“We have always been confident from the start of the competition because we take solace in the fact that at the World Cup Qualifiers, we are two points clear ahead of Senegal and for us, Ghana and Senegal are of the same quality and Ghana is even better than Senegal.
“So for us, we have always been confident that we are going to qualify and we knew that if we win all our home games, that will give us nine (9) points to qualify after Ghana lost at home and drew away.
“This is a huge boost for team Sudan because now it becomes easier, winning two next matches and we will be in the AFCON with 10 points.” He told the media.
With the excitement surrounding AFCON 2025 building, Osei Fosu urged fans to rally behind the team.
