Gospel musician Piesie Esther has shared her experience on the uses of social media and her initial thought of it.
According to her, she didn’t want to involve herself in anything related to social media in the past because she thought it was a mythical being’s creation and that those who were using it would have negative effects.
Speaking in an interview on Adom TV’s Showtym with Sally Mann monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, the Wayε-Me-Yie hit maker stated that she has come to understand the benefits of social media.
Piesie Esther indicated despite the negative aspect of the use of social media, it helps Ministries to grow.
The gospel musician added that there were some dressings that seemed evil but now it is normal.
“A lot of things are happening on social media, now things are changing, there is a vast difference between the past and now. There are some dresses which are normal now, even though I thought social media belonged to Maame Water so I didn’t want to go there.” She said.
“But it got to a point and I realised that it has become part of human beings so no matter the situation you have to involve yourself to help your Ministry.” Piesie Esther added.
Maame Water, as she is referred to in Ghana, is a centuries old Pan-African water deity who is variously regarded as a sea goddess or mother of the ocean.
Many things have been attributed to the goddess which have discouraged many people.
