Ex-wife of the Chief Executive Officer of Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kweku Oteng has regretted her decision to marry at the age of 22.
Sally Akua Amoakowaa, former Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant said marrying at a younger age without life experience is something she has regretted and will not advise any woman to take that decision.
Speaking in an interview, she indicated the greatest mistake she made to enter into marriage at a younger age is what she would like to correct if she has the opportunity now.
“I was too young, married at the age of 22 is something I have regretted and will correct the mistake if I have the opportunity. I didn’t have more experience in life.” Akua Amoakowaa stated.
The 2021 winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant stressed that she will not advise any young girl to fall into marriage at an early age.
According to her, before any woman decides to get married, the person must understand herself better and the man she is going to spend the rest of her life with.
“Marriage is a lifetime journey, per my experience, any young girl who wants to marry must understand herself well and the man she is going to stay with. They should not just get married, understanding life is the best education everybody should get.” She advised.
Sally Akua Amoakowaa who was the fourth wife of Dr. Kweku Oteng divorced her marriage in 2019.
They had three children before ending the marriage.
