Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah has questioned the credibility of a letter addressed to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) by the legal team of the former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
She also cast doubt about the health condition of the former Minister.
According to Nana Yaa Jantuah, she met Ofori-Atta not long ago and he was fully strong and so she can only believe Ken is sick unless he provides pictorial evidence.
“Nana Addo promised to build the National Cathedral, and because it involved a lot of money, Ken rushed to the scene and here we are today. So I do not think Ken is sick, what is he suffering from? He should send us a photo to believe that he is indeed sick.” Nana Yaa Jantuah said this on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Wednesday, February 12.
Her comment comes after the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng declared Ken Ofori-Atta wanted and fugitive for his involvement in several scandals.
Mr. Ofori-Atta’s Legal team in response to the OSP fugitive claims explained that their client has traveled to seek medical attention.
But Nana Yaa Jantuah maintained that if the state finds anything wrong during Ofori-Atta’s tenure, they must bring him to provide answers to the allegations.
“If Ken has done anything wrong, they must go and bring him to answer. When I met Ken at uncle Mike Gizo’s funeral he didn’t look like a sick person. He was properly dressed, the letter which his (Ken) Lawyers produced has two different signatures. The letter was authorized by a Doctor so if there is a stamp on it, that same stamp must be authorized by a Doctor.” She stated.
