Ghanaian Afropop, Afro-dancehall, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has rejected an “Industry Boy” tag leveled against him.
He said the industry is there for everyone and it is responsible for the growth of the Creative Art so calling him an Indsurty is unacceptable.
Stonebwoy has been tagged as an Industry Boy by some members in the entertainment industry especially, Shatta Wale.
Addressing this tag on Hitz FM, Stonebwow stated “I think this will be the first time I am speaking about I am Industry boy. I should be, sometimes if I am answering something some way, people just get sad. Bro, to state the fact I am not an industry boy to be that an industry sat down to craft. No, the industry is there for everybody, the industry is responsible for the growth and well being of our Creative Art.”
“From Hitz Fm to all the radio stations globally and all the traditional media and modern media however, I don’t give it too much value because it is just a talk. You know where is coming from, you all understand and he said it so many times to contrast it against himself but that is not the truth. I want people to look at things the way they are supposed to be.” He said.
According to him, nobody is fighting anybody and he has a staunch fan who believes in him.
“Why I hate to explain also sometimes is that somebody doesn’t care about this. We have staunch fans who believe in whatever we are doing. You have to be constructive sometimes to check the reality. Nobody is fighting anybody anywhere against somebody. It is not accurate, so I am not an industry boy and I don’t see myself as one. I always move on in this conversation.” Stonebwoy explained.
