Leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has challenged the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako widely known as Chairman Wontumi for saying he (Owusu Bempah) can not step his foot in Kumasi.
According to the man of God, he is a Bantama boy and this threat from Chairman Wontumi can not scare him.
Some members of the NPP have recently attacked Owusu Bempah after the former NPP prophet prophesied and prayed that ex-President John Dramani Mahama would be the next president of Ghana.
Speaking at his church, Rev. Owusu Bempah stated that Chairman Wontumi was a young boy when he was living in Kumasi.
“I am a Bantama boy, so it was laughable when Chairman Wontumi claimed that I can not step Kumasi. Chairman Wontumi was young when I was on the streets of Kumasi.” He said.
Rev. Owusu Bempah also denied the claim that he had anointed the vice president and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to become the next president of Ghana.
According to him, such allegations are false.
“I heard my younger brother, Chairman Wontumi saying he brought Vice President (Bawumia) to my house and I asked him to kneel down and anointed him that he will be the next president. It is not true. Even the Vice President himself knows that Wontumi is lying” He stated.
Rev. Owusu Bempah joined other clergy who met the former president John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Prior to this, the man of God expressed his dissatisfaction over how the NPP betrayed him.
