How University of Ghana honoured level 300 student Afronitaaa and Abigail

The remarkable achievement of a third-year Banking and Finance student of the University of Ghana, Legon, Danita Akosua Adomah Yeboah (Afronitaaa) and her dance partner Abigail Dromo at the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show has not only made Ghana proud but has also added value to the country’s creative industry.

Afronitaa and Abigail claimed the third position of the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show.

Their performances have received countless congratulation messages for lifting the name of Ghana higher.

The latest congratulation message comes from the University of Ghana, Legon, where Afronitaa is pursuing Banking and Finance.

According to the University, the duo have achieved a remarkable feat by placing third in the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show.

“Congratulations, Danita Akosua Adomah Yeboah (Afronitaaa), level 300 Banking and Finance student, @ugbsofficial. You and your dance partner Abigail Dromo, have achieved a remarkable feat by placing third in the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show. Ayeekoo!” The school wrote on its social media handle X account.

Among others who have congratulated Afronitaa and Abigail is former president John Dramani Mahama.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer said the talents of the two ladies have given Ghanaians another reason they should be proud of their country.

“You’ve given us another reason to be proud of our country, Ghana, and the talent and creativity of its youth.
Go all out, Abigail and Afronitaa!” Mahama said.

Some Ghanaians also believe it is the greatest opportunity for the leaders of the country to invest more in the cultural and creative industry to promote development in the country.

“These and many more young talented people are the reasons why Ghana must be INTENTIONAL about investing in our cultural/creative industries. It’s one of our low hanging fruits.” Someone said.

“Person posted concerning Afronita and Abigail and you leave the concerning post and praising the poster. God bless you Mahama; that means you are truly concerned to the people of Ghana.” Another one said.
