Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe unveils projects for Amenfi Central

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has unveiled an ambitious list of development projects scheduled for implementation between 2025 and 2026 to improve social services and enhance living conditions across the constituency.

The projects, which cut across healthcare, education, infrastructure, and security, are expected to address critical needs in various communities while stimulating economic growth and social development.

Some of the major initiatives include the continuation of the Ankwaso CHPS Compound in 2025, the construction of a new market at Juabo in 2026, and the establishment of a police station at Sraha Ayiem, funded through the MP’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund.

The MP also listed several educational projects, including the continuation of works on the Wuratrem DA Primary School, the Ankasie DA Primary School, and the completion of a 3-unit JHS classroom block at Sompre. Fresh construction of new schools, CHPS compounds, and maternity facilities are also planned for communities such as Ankasie, Agona Amenfi, Jedua Kese, Manso Amenfi, Kramokrom, Bonsie, and Bantoma.

In the health sector, new CHPS compounds are expected to be built at Ankasie, Jedua Kese, Adidaase, and Hiawa, while a fully equipped maternity block with a theatre will be constructed at Manso Amenfi to improve maternal healthcare delivery.

On security, aside from the Sraha Ayiem Police Station project scheduled for 2026, Hon. Cudjoe will fund the construction of another police station at Achichire in 2025 to enhance law enforcement visibility in the area.
