“Although I don’t have the number of schools that the government under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has built and commissioned in Techiman, but since I became the MCE, we have commissioned over 39 schools across the various communities in Techiman within the last four years.” He said.

Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko further disclosed that, inadequate infrastructure has been one of the major challenges in the education sector and as such, his government have been constructing classroom block in the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly to deal with the challenge.

“We realized that infrastructure was the main challenging facing schools in Techiman, so Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo through Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, and former Member of Parliament, Hon. Boakye Yiadom, have constructed a lot of schools to deal with the over population in our schools.

“I have been in Nsuta for more than four times so far as the commission of schools is concerned, the KG block is well furnished, we have installed marker boards in each of the classrooms, their is a bathroom and toilet in the school, including a kitchen, dinning hall, head teachers office and staff common room.

“So you can see that this is a modern KG block which is spacious enough to provide comfort for our children when they come to learn.” He said.

The Chief of Nsuta, Nana Owusu Ameyaw II, thanked the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah and the NPP government for their immense developmental projects in Nsuta.

Nana Owusu Ameyaw II, said although the NPP have been losing elections at Nsuta, he hopes the narrative changes in this year’s elections due to the good works of the government.

“It is true that the NPP always lose the vote in Nsuta, as a chief, I shouldn’t be doing politics but the truth is that Dr. Bawumia is capable of leading our country and he is the one who can take us to the promised land.

“So I will plead with my people to vote for Dr. Bawumia so they can continue with the developmental projects in Nsuta.” He said.

Nana continued, “We are grateful for the school but there are some pity things that needs to be done in the school, so I will plead with  you to come back and finish it for us.”
