Hon. Ewurabena Aubynn, a member of Ghana’s Parliamentary Select Committee on Foreign Affairs, has joined a high-level delegation in Qatar to participate in the prestigious Doha Forum 2025. The forum, held over the weekend, reinforced its reputation as one of the world’s foremost platforms for shaping dialogue on diplomacy, global governance, and international cooperation.

This year’s edition was held under the theme “Diplomacy, Dialogue and Diversity,” attracting influential leaders, ministers, diplomats, and policy experts from across continents. Hosted by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the gathering provided space for robust discussions on peace, economic resilience, security challenges, and shifting geopolitical landscapes.

A major highlight for the Ghanaian delegation was the participation of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, who featured as a distinguished panelist. President Mahama addressed issues related to global economic recovery, Africa’s development agenda, and the need for deeper international cooperation, remarks that drew strong engagement from participants.

Hon. Aubynn and her colleague Members of Parliament took part in multiple strategic sessions, where they contributed Ghana’s viewpoints on peacebuilding, multilateralism, and the rapidly evolving global order. Their involvement underscored Ghana’s longstanding commitment to international diplomacy and its proactive role in shaping global conversations.
