As part of her efforts to improve the life of the people of Techiman North, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Member of Parliament for Techiman North constituency, has commissioned a mechanized borehole for the people of Nyansuaka.

The mechanized borehole, which is response to the needs of the people of Nyansuaka who have been finding it difficult to get access to portable is designed to serve Nyansuaka and its adjourning communities.

The Chief of Nyansuaka, Daniel Sekyere, in his remarks thanked Hon. Elizabeth Ofous-Adjare for her immense contribution in improving the lifes of the people of Techiman North and Nyansuaka to be precise.

Daniel Sekyere said, the mechanized borehole provided to the community by Hon. Elizabeth will not only improve the fundamental basic needs of livelihood in Nyansuaka but also enhance sanitation in the communityl

“Life without water is very difficult so we are very grateful to our MP for providing with a portable water. This is not just a borehole but a mechanized borehole and on behalf of the people of Nyansuaka, I say a very big thank you to the Member and her team.

“I am hopeful that whatever we ask from her, she will give it to us, the NDC government has been very good to the people of Nyansuaka and for that I know that Hon. Elizabeth will also be good to us.” He said.

Daniel Sekyere, on behalf on the people of Nyansuaka made three request which he said its of the outmost importance to the community.

According to him, the health center in the community is out of medicines and pleaded with the legislature to restock it for the community, he again prayed to Hon. Elizabeth to provide the health center with portable water to enable the clinic to function properly.

Daniel Sekyere finally urged Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to help construct the road network linking Nyansuaka to Offuman.

“The clinic in our community lacks portable water, we usually tasked students to fetch water for the clinic but I strongly believe that now that our MP has provided the community with a mechanized borehole, she will soon provide one for the clinic.

“Hon. Elizabeth supplied our clinic with medicines but the clinic is currently out of medicines, we will soon go to the polls and I believe she will retain her seat, so I will plead with Hon. Elizabeth to stock our clinic with medicines after the elections to enable the clinic to function well.

“Our road network is very bad, we want to develop our community by building a lot of infrastructures but due to the poor state of our road, we find it difficult to transports sands that we will use for the construction dump truck driver wants to come here.

“We plead with our mother, Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare to help construct our road for us because it is one of our biggest challenges in this community.” He said.

Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare expressed her delight at the completion of the borehole and the positive impact it will have on the community.

“Today is one of the happiest days in my life because I have been able to provide portable water to the good people of Nyansuaka, whenever I complete a project for my  people, I feel satisfied because I promised to serve them and doing what they want is always makes me happy.” She said.

The Member of Parliament for Techiman North, promised to as a matter of urgency supply the clinic with not only medicines but also hospital beds to improve the quality of health care at the clinic.

“I strongly believe that two weeks from now, the people of Nyansuaka will be celebrating the victory of the NDC and I promised that immediately after the elections, I see to the construction of a mechanized borehole at the clinic.

“For the medicines, I won’t even wait for the elections before I provide the them, I will ensure that you get the medicines before the elections. I have procured some hospital beds for the clinic so I will deliver the beds and medicines to you even before the elections.” Hon. Elizabeth promised

She also promised to provide the clinic with a mechanized borehole and construct the road network of the community. She pleaded with the electorates of Nyanasuaka to vote 100% for the NDC come December 7th to fast track developmental projects in the Nyansuaka community.

“I know that the people of Nyansuaka believes in the NDC government and I believe you will vote massively for me and John Dramani Mahama.

“There is a promotion I do for communities that votes 100% for the NDC, I donate money to the electoral area that votes 100% for me and the NDC, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, also donates money to the electoral area that votes 100% for the NDC and our former President John Dramani Mahama also does same.

“I also see to the completion of one developmental project for that electoral area, so come 7th December, the people of Nyansuaka should vote massively, you should vote 100% for me and the NDC and I promised that your road will be fixed because that will be the project I will do for you.” She said.
