Accra Hearts of Oak, has officially announced the signing of former Legon Cities attacker, Kwabena Boateng.

This move is expected to boost the attacking powers of the Phobians for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

The 18-year-old attacker has penned down a three year deal for the Accra based club after joining them as a free agent. Boateng completed his medicals last Sunday and will be hoping to continue his football career at Accra Hearts of Oak with good goal returns.

“Done Deal! Kwabena Boateng, A new chapter for the latest Phobian. Welcome to the Phobia Family” Hearts of Oak posted on the official page

Kwabena Boateng, a skilled and prolific forward, has shown impressive form throughout his career, consistently scoring crucial goals for his previous clubs. During his tenure with Legon Cities, Boateng made notable contributions, appearing in 28 matches and netting six goals.

The addition of Boateng to the squad is expected to provide a much-needed boost to the team’s attacking prowess, making them a force to be reckoned with in both domestic and international competitions.

The Continental Club Masters will begin their 2024 / 2025 Ghana Premier League campaign on 6th September, 2024, when they play host to Basake Holy Stars.

The Phoobians have pledged to put a smile on the faces of their fans in the next season after their abysmal performance in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Hearts of Oak was at the edge of going to relegation during the last season of the GPL.

As part of the club’s rebuilding process, some supporters are calling for dismissal of their head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara. The call comes after the club announced Nana Yaw Amankwah as their new assistant coach.
