Upcoming Gospel Musician, Nhyiraba Marfo popularly known as Jamira has recounted how dwarves also known as forest dwellers, a type of supernatural being tried to marry her.
According to her, the spirits (dwarves) started to hurt her after she converted from idolatry to christianity.
Narrating her ordeal on YouTube video shared by Elvis Anokye TV, Nhyiraba Marfo revealed that her idol worship started after she decided to go and stay with her elder sister, Okomfo Pokuaa who is a priest at Tetrem in the Afigya Kwabre District of the Ashanti region.
“The life was unbearable for when I came to Tetrem, and one of my mother’s elder sister’s daughter called Okomfo Pokuaa is a priest and she was pregnant at the same time so I decided to go and stay with her and help her with house chores but all of a sudden I realized that I am with my sister at her shrine” Nyiraba Marfo told Bra Kwaku on Elvis Anokye Tv.
The gospel musician who was first a muslim indicated that she was not happy with the life she was living there so she went back to her mother’s house but returned to Okomfo Pokuaa house the same day.
“I was there but I woke up one day and decided to go to my mother’s house, immediately I got there I didn’t see anything and packed my belongings and returned to my sister (Okomfo Pokuaa) again so I stayed there for about seven years. Then later I changed my lifestyle to suit a priest and began to do dreadlocks, I poured libation and other things. The only thing I couldn’t do was to get my own god to worship” She recounted.
According to Nhyiaba Marfo, after she decided to convert from idolatry to Christianity she went through a lot of challenges after Pastor Wofa Joe Owusu of Mountain Zion Prayer Ministry came and intervened.
“I went through a lot when I took a decision to stop worshipping the gods, the life was unbearable but I vowed not to go back to my sister again nor go to any relationship but thanks be to one pastor of Mountain Zion Prayer Ministry, Wofa Joe Owusu who introduced me to a prayer tower. ” She said.
Adding that it came to a time when the dwarfs visit her in a dream and sometimes play with her.
“It came to a time when I slept with my clothes on but I would wake up naked, it wasn’t easy, they wanted to prove that they still love me. The way I served them with a good heart, any of the dwarves called me my wife. They even warned me that they would kill any man who would decide to marry me so it was not easy” Jamira stated.
According to her, they went through the same challenges after she got married but by God’s grace she is now free.
