A GoFundMe account has been created to raise additional funds to support Ghana’s ace journalist and owner of Kofi TV, Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii who was shot in the face at a festival event in Dormaa.
Kofi Adomah has undergone a series of surgeries after the incident but reports say he Angel FM/TV presenter needs to go for another surgery.
The Organiser of the GoFundMe campaign, Oppong Kofi stated that “some of the surgeries have been done and there are still more to do. The cost of the surgeries is enormous and the people that were supposed to take responsibility for this have decided to do nothing about it.”
“This campaign is to help pay for the medical bills of Ghana’s ace journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii who was shot in the face at a festival event in Dormaa.”
At the time this report was filed, a total amount of €4,349 had been raised.
The Organizer indicated that the GoFundMe campaign is aimed at raising €50K to support the renowned Broadcast Journalist.
According to him, any amount to support Kofi Adomah will be appreciated.
“So with this GoFundMe campaign, we want to raise funds to support Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii with his surgeries and medical care. Any amount will be highly appreciated and may God bless everyone who is willing to help Bra Kofi in this critical time, Thank you.” He wrote.
Meanwhile, Kofi Adomah’s wife, Nana Abena Atruba earlier refuted claims that it was just a gun-powder the gunmen with a musketry gun allegedly shot on Kofi Tv’s owner’s eye.
According to her, the condition of her husband is very serious and needs more attention.
