The rapper in a viral video blasting the fans for taking chances.
During a live engagement on social media, one of his fans asked him to send him two thousand cedi GHS 2000 to add up to his rent. This request did not go well for the artist.
In a harsh reply, Edem said the fan should go back to his village if he can’t afford rent in Accra. According to him, houses in the villages are free so it is better to go there and avoid overburdening people.
“Edem send me GHC 2000, I want to add up to pay my rent” “I beg you if you don’t have money to rent an apartment in Accra go back to your village. There is a free house in your village. Don’t come and put your rent in somebody’s pocket.” He said.
Another fan also asked, I drew you but you didn’t give me me. In a reply, Edem stated that he didn’t ask the fan to draw him.
According to him, people are taking advantage to collect money from others, especially celebrities, all in the name of drawing which to him is unacceptable.
“I drew you but you didn’t give me money why? ” Did I ask you to draw me, do you know the number of people who draw me everyday to show me love? Did I send you to come and draw me? If you draw me because you appreciate me as my fan, did I ask you to do that? You people want to draw people by force and want to collect money from them.” Edem fumed.
