Former US president Barack Obama has once again shared his 2023 Summer Playlist on social media to display his musical knowledge and eclectic music tastes.

Unfortunately, Ghanaian Musicians were not included in the summer playlist of the former US president.

In this year, Nigeria and Uganda were among Africa Musicians who were named in his playlist.

Obama expressed his love in songs like Burna Boy, 21 Savage: “Sittin’ on Top of the World”, Ayra Starr: “Sability”, Pretenders: “I’ll Stand By You”, Leonard Cohen: “Dance Me to the End of Love (Live)”,  J Hus and Drake: “Who Told You” and others.

Barack Obama’s playlist is a collection of songs that the former US president likes to listen to during different seasons or occasions. He usually shares his playlist on social media, such as Twitter or Instagram, and also on Spotify. His playlist covers a wide range of genres, artists, and eras, and reflects his eclectic taste and appreciation for music.
