The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially released the itinerary for the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of their upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Sudan.
The GFA has taken this step to inform the public especially the media about the program outline of the senior national team, Black Stars of Ghana and take notice of them
The Black Stars of Ghana, will on Thursday 10th October, 2024, host Sudan, the Falcons of Jediane at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Per the itinerary, players of the Black Stars are expected to arrive in Accra on Sunday, 6th September 2024 and Monday 7th September 2024.
Their first training session, is scheduled at 4:30pm on Monday 7th September, 2024 and it is open to the media.
The Black Stars will continue with their second training session on Tuesday 8th September, 2024. However, the team’s second training session is not opened to the media.
On Wednesday, 9th September 2024, the team will hold their 3rd training session before facing Sudan on Thursday, 10th September 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Coach Otto Addo and his boys will be looking forward to secure their first victory of the qualifiers after a disappointing start to the campaign, losing one and drawing one in their first 2 games, leaving them third on group F table with just one point.
Ghana begun their campaign with a surprising 1:0 defeat to Angola at the Babb Yara Sports Stadium before before playing a 1:1 draw with the menas of Niger at the Stade Municipal de Berkane.
A win against Sudan, will better Ghana’s chances of securing a spot at the 2025 Morocco AFCON.
