Fuji Oil Ghana Limited, a Ghana-based production company specializes in the fractionation of shea butter for the production of shea stearin and shea olein, as donated 71 chickens in support of Classic FM’s “Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program.
This year’s donation marks the 8th consecutive year that Fuji Oil Ghana Limited has supported Classic FM’s “Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program. As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Fuji Oil Ghana Limited has been a consistent partner of Classic FM in this program since its inception in Ghana in the year 2016.
The “Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program is an annual program by Classic FM which focuses on providing support and assistance to vulnerable groups in society, including widows, orphans, and those in need.
Speaking to our reporter after the donation, the Procurement Supervisor for Fuji Oil Ghana Limited, Alexander Ababio, revealed that, the organization aims to bring smile to the faces of widows, orphans and the needy in the society during the Christmas festivities hence their constant support to Classic FM since 2016 for the “Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program.
“I would first and foremost wish all and sundry a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
“I am hear on behalf of Fuji Oil Ghana Limited, we have been supporting Classic FM every year to donate to widows, orphans and the needy in the society.
“As the Bibles teaches, God promises tremendous blessings to those who care for widows, orphans and the needy in the society and that is our motivation for supporting Classic FM’s”Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program. This year, we donated a 71 chickens to support the program.” He said
Alexander Ababio further disclosed that, the company’s involvement in the “Agyanka Bewe Akoko” program is just one example of its commitment to social responsibility as Fuji Oil Ghana Limited has a long history of supporting various initiatives that benefit society, including education, healthcare, and environmental conservation.
“This is just one of the many ways we contribute to our community. As part of our corporates social responsibility, we have provided street lights to Hansua community, we donated 200 bags of cement to Techiman Senior High School in their quest to build a modern toilet facility for the learners.
“We donated cements to Kwarteng Ankoma Senior High School and recently, our management have approved to donate 200 bags of cement to support the construction of a community bridge in Hansua.
“I want to assure everyone that Fuji Oil Ghana Limited remains committed to supporting the development of Techiman and its surrounding communities through our corporate social responsibility efforts.” He disclosed
