At the just ended Pulse Influencer Awards 2024 that took off yesterday, October 19, it was to be one of those nights when Drill and Rosey, popularly known as Drisey, stole the show the very moment they stepped out.
We can now say, they are the best ever to come out of a TV Reality Show in Ghana. The moment they showed up, the tide shifted, as everyone turned their attention to them, knowing that with them around, ripples were just about to go down all night.
One highlight was how gracefully Drill walked Rosey in and made sure she was seated properly before taking his seat beside her. Also attired in matching outfits, the style coordination upped the charm factor, which turned them into the evening’s cynosure.
As the night wore on, Rosey took home not one but two prestigious awards: the Next Generational Influencer Award and Best Dressed. Though the night wasn’t without its drama-a man trying to collect her award on behalf of Rosey-the presenter did correct that in time, so Rosey could shine on and take her honours in elegance.
The impact of Drisey was undeniably being felt. Admittedly, they were setting a new standard as regards what a power couple should look like within the Ghanaian Entertainment circles, being the very first Ghanaian reality TV stars to enjoy such recognition and success.
The night of the Pulse Influencer Awards 2024 would be remembered as the night they sealed their influence amongst fans on the continent.
