Mr. Albert Donbo, a Special Aid to the Member of Parliament for Techiman South and Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, has advised electorates, especially settlers in the constituency not to vote on tribal lines.

According to him, voting should be based on development and competence and not ethnic considerations.

Speaking to the media during the 2024 Dagaaba Annual Lantaa Festival at the Kenten Park in the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly, Mr. Donbo advised voters to evaluate candidates based on their ability to bring tangible progress to the constituency as he stressed on the importance of electing leaders who have a clear vision and proven track record of development rather than making choices rooted in tribal affiliations.

“I would like to advice my brethren not to vote on tribal basis because voting should be based on developmental projects.

“I can confidently say that the Hon. Martin, through the NPP government has provided the needs of the Dagaaba community, through his hard work, the roads in our communities have been fixed, he has provided us with portable water and light.” He said.

Mr. Albert Donbo further disclosed that, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah deserved to be retained is the member of Parliament for Techiman South because aside his numerous developmental projects in the constituency, he is a unifier as he has demonstrated overwhelming love to all settlers within the Techiman South constituency and has supporters them in all their endeavors.

“The love that Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has for we Dagaabas is Immeasurable, he always says Dagaabas have a special place in Techiman.

“He has supported numerous Dagaaba youth in paying their school fees, so I will urge all and sundry to vote massively for Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah. We should not forget that the first two years of his administration was spent in court, so all the developmental projects we are seeing in Techiman was accomplished by Hon. Martin within just two years.

“So I want to tell the people of Techiman especially the Dagaabas in Techiman to vote massively for Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, because he has proven to be the right person to lead us and I believe if we give him the mandate again, we will see massive development in our community than we have witnessed in the past two years.” He said.
