Ohene Ba Achiaa Panin III, the Queen Mother of Apatrapa in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region, has urged polling station agents of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to remain vigilant and not leave their posts until the electoral process is complete. This call to action emphasizes the importance of ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
Ohene Ba Achiaa indicated that polling station agents play a crucial role in detecting and preventing any irregularities that may occur during the voting process. She further noted that by staying vigilant, polling agents can ensure that voters’ rights are protected and that the electoral process is fair and transparent. She also noted that the vigilance of polling agents can help maintain peace and order at the station, reducing the risk of conflict and dispute.
The queen mother stressed that polling agents are the eyes and ears of their respective parties during elections and therefore entreated NDC Polling agents to stay awake and vigilant come December polls.
Achiaa Panin’s call to action underscores the critical role that polling agents play in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
However, she expressed confidence in the NDC winning the upcoming elections, urging the people of Kwadaso to vote for the former president, his Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidate of the constituency.
Moreover, the queen pleaded with the NDC to prioritize the development of the Kwadaso Municipality especially Apatrapa to ensure the standard of living of people of the community and the development of the country.
She made this call when Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the national chairman of the NDC on his phase three retail campaign tour to the Ashanti Region visited the Kwadaso Constituency, Apatrapa precisely.
Hon. Eric Assibey during his speech pledged to support the people of Kwadaso and help develop the Constituency when elected as member of the Constituency in the upcoming elections.
He finally called on the people of Kwadaso to remember him in the December 7 polls.
