Don’t call me fake because prayers can change everything – Prophet Ogya
Prophet Jedidiah Henry Kore popularly known as fire Ogya of Mount Zion International Ministry has said prayer changes everything so Ghanaians should not call him fake.
Prophet Ogya predicted before the Black Stars’ match against Egypt that Kudus would not perform well and that he would disgrace himself.
He could be heard in a video predicting that the right winger or forward for Premier League club Crystal Palace and the Ghana national team, Jordan Pierre Ayew would save the Black Stars in their second match against the Pharaohs of the Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.
“People were praising Kudus, Kudus will come to the game and disgrace himself. I am telling you a fact. You must rely on Jordan Ayew rather than6 Kudus, I am repeating I am a prophet, I have already watched the match in the realm of the spirit so I know how it will end so Ghanaians should forget Kudus and rely on Jordan Ayew.” He predicted.
According to him, 2024 is a year of success for Jordan Ayew.
“Listen, even if Ghana disqualify and come home 2024 is Jordan Ayew’s year, A big star has shined on him, he will do wonders and miracles so we should pray for him not Kudus because I saw Kudus chewing something on the pitch and only a prophet can understand this revelation so if Kudus is coming to the game he is coming to disgrace himself and he should pray hard because we don’t eat on a pitch” Prophet Ogya prophesized.
But contrary to the prophecy, the right winger for Premier League club West Ham United and the Black Stars emerged as the man of the match after scoring two goals for Ghana.
The Black Stars of Ghana secured a 2-2 draw during the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2023 group B football match between Ghana and Egypt at Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on January 18, 2024.
Speaking on Accra-based Okay fm after the failed prophecy, Prophet Ogya stated that he prayed after the revelation and as a believer prayer can change everything.
He said, it is not his wish for the Black Stars to lose their game but as a prophet of God he says what has been revealed to him.
“I am a Ghanaian, don’t make it as if I am prophesying against Ghana it will not happen like that, It is not my wish for Ghana to lose any match but I am saying what has been revealed to me. They asked me, “Man of God, your first prophecy has come to pass, so can you do anything about this? I said I can only fast and pray to God for Ghana, if we are able to secure a draw it is good news so I am still in fasting and prayers. Ghanaians should not call me fake when changes come because prayer can change everything.” He stated.
According to him, this is not the first time a prophecy has turned around.
Quoting Isaiah 38:1-5 to back his argument stated that, “God sent His prophet and in those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. Is he fake?” He quizzed.
