Management of Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr also known as Shatta Wale has once again warned people using the artist’s fake account on X (Formerly Twitter).
According to them, an unknown person is using a fake account impersonating him (Shatta Wale).
The Management explained that the dancehall king official X account has over 3.5M followers and the handle is @shattawalegh and not shattawalenima.
In a Facebook post, Manager of Shatta Wale, Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex warned that fans should not be fooled and deceived by the impersonator.
According to him, any post on X with the handle ‘shattawalenima’ is not coming from Shatta Wale.
“I have seen that many of you still don’t know the difference between Shatta official account on Twitter/X and the fake account impersonating him …” He said.
“LET ME HELP Y’ALL !! The first frame is the Shatta Wale official account with over 3.5M followers and the handle is @shattawalegh and not ‘shattawalenima’ which is the FAKE one on Twitter/X being operated by unknown person.
So know the differences and don’t be fooled and deceived by what the person behind it post there. It’s not coming from Shatta Wale !!” Part of the post read.
According to him, they are doing everything possible to suspend or band the fake account.
“WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO GET IT SUSPENDED/BANNED !!” He said.
This is not the time the management of the artist has warned fans about impersonators using fake accounts with Shatta Wale’s name.
