Ghanaian anglophone hip-hop and Afrobeat musician and entrepreneur, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black has reacted to claims that he passed a cigar to Ghanaian actress and a philanthropist, Fella Precious Makafui at a club.
D-Black was seen lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui in a video that surfaced online.
The video created a lot of arguments on social media in which Ghanaian hip hop musician Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, expressed his dissatisfaction over the incident.
People accused D-Black of passing a cigar to the actress.
Earlier, Popular Event Organizer/Promoter and Master of Ceremonies (MC), Richard Amankwaa Boateng popularly known as MC Mall Wasty in an interview with Bra Kwaku on Elvis Anokye TV stated that Medikal should understand that his wife, Fella Makafui is a street girl so D-Black did nothing wrong.
Reacting to this amidst ongoing marital issues between Medikal and Fella, D-Black said people just talk by heart.
According to him, he did not pass anything to Fella.
He explained that Fella Makafui asked him to help her light her own cigar she bought.
D-Black further stated that he was holding his own cigar when Fella asked him to help her light her cigar.
“What pass? She asked me to help light her own cigar she bought. I was holding mine in my hand. Which pass? You people just talk by heart” D-Black wrote.
Meanwhile, Fella Precious Makafui in a statement announced that Medikal and her have agreed to end their four-year marriage.
“I and my husband have, a few months ago, agreed to end our four-year marriage. We have, therefore, been waiting for our respected families to complete the required customary divorce rites.” She said.
“Recently, however, my husband has been making little too many public statements on our marriage, our beloved daughter, my family, and my businesses. These public statements, considerable parts of which are a great departure from the truth, have caused significant hurt to me, my family, and to my businesses.” Fella indicated.
