Some Concern Members of Offinso North NPP Youth, have publicly called for the removal of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong.
The group in a press release accused the DCE of sabotaging the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for Offinso North, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah.
The Concern Members of Offinso North NPP Youth also alleged that, Hon. Boampong, is yet to endorse or support Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah while deliberately absented himself from his official duties creating a leadership vacuum and significantly impeding the progress of the District
Assembly.
They are therefore calling on the central government as a matter of urgency to remove Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong from office.

We, the concerned members of Offinso North NPP Youth, are compelled to address urgent issues regarding Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Offinso North. Our recent review has uncovered several serious problems that hinder his effectiveness and obstruct our party’s goals.
Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong, has not engaged in any campaign activities with Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah, the party’s candidate for the 2024 election. He has not endorsed or supported him in any capacity let alone to take him through the projects the government is doing or has done in the constituency. Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong has been deliberately absent himself from his official duties this year, creating a leadership void or vacuum and significantly impeding the progress of the District
Assembly. He always responds with a message, “text me” whenever a call is placed.
On Friday, the 2nd of August, 2024 around 7:00pm,Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong instructed the District Assembly storekeeper to supply agricultural inputs and street lights which were meant for the constituents were rather given to the NDC Parliamentary Candidate to campaign against the NPP Parliamentary Candidate.There is video evidence to that effect.
In light of these pressing issues, we call for the immediate removal of Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong from his role as the District Chief Executive. His actions and inactions are detrimental to our party’s objectives and threaten our success in breaking the 8 in the upcoming elections.
We plead with the president and the local government minister to terminate his appointment as the
DCE to restore effective leadership and support our party’s goals.
