Chelsea FC’s attacking midfielder, Cole Jermaine Palmer goal against city rivals Fulham has been nominated for the December goal of the month award.

The 22-year-old English professional, opened the score line in Chelsea’s 2:1 defeat to Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, 26th December, 2024.

Palmer picked the ball up around 35 yards out from teammate Levi Lamar Samuels Colwill before dribbling past a number of Fulham defenders and calmly slotting into the bottom corner from just outside the area.

The goal, which came in the the 16th minute of the match, was a beautiful example of Palmer’s technical ability and vision.

Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak goal against Liverpool, Bournemouth’s Enes Unal  goal against West Ham United, Manchester United young winger Amad Diallo goal against Manchester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha goal against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood’s strike against Everton and Ghana and Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey goals against Aston Villa and Leicester City have all been shortlisted for the award.

The English Premier League goal of the month award is given to the player who scores the most outstanding goal of the month. The winner will be announced in the coming weeks and will be a well-deserved recognition of Palmer’s outstanding performance.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer has been again nominated for the December Player of the month award. The 22-year-old is aiming to win the award for the second time this season, and the third time in five attempts as he maintains his outstanding form for the Blues.
