The marriage between South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer, Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest and his childhood friend Pulane Mojaka has sparked another debate on social media.
Many people believe there is nothing wrong for girlfriends to have a male best friend and boyfriends to have a female best friend.
But others are also against that because they think most of the people in this generation don’t know their limits.
A Facebook post by a social media user seems to have a different insight of the South African rapper’s marriage to his childhood friend.
He thinks Cassper Nyovest should have married his baby Mama instead of Pulane.
He advised people who allow their partners to have best friends of the opposite gender to remember the story of Cassper Nyovest marriage.
“What’s your take on Cassper Nyovest wedding, Marrying Her childhood friend instead of His baby Mama?
Anytime you allow your woman to have a male friend just remember Cassper Nyovest married his childhood friend Pulane” He questioned.
He believes it is deception for a woman or a man to say “it is just a friend”. To him, Men and women can’t be friends. A lion can never fraternize with an antelope.
“Don’t be deceived with “he’s just a friend”, there’s no such thing. Men and women can’t be friends. A lion can never fraternize with an antelope. No farmer keeps a chicken as a pet. No one uses a sugar cane as a walking stick. When the time and conditions are right, they will chew each other.”
Meanwhile, Cassper Nyovest has said he is a changed person unlike what people think about him.
“It’s all for the glory of God. I stand today a changed man, a man of faith, honesty, peace, integrity, love and honour wisdom. It’s by the grace of God that I’m a changed man. Many may call me names and question my salvation but God has called me and I answered with pride. To lead the lost man of today!! I’m not better than anyone, I’m just different from my old self for the grace of God is upon me!!! Thank you Lord!!” He wrote on his X.
“1 Corinthians 10:30 If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? 31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” He added.
